Logan Bust:

A man who cannot remember his past, stuck in a world that despises what he is. Known only as Logan to his close friends, Wolverine to his enemies and the rest of the world.  A top- secret government project named Weapons X, gave him his adamantium claws and skeleton system, along with his mutant healing powers transforming him into an unstoppable force. Wolverine along with the rest of the X-Men team fight to rid the world of evil mutants while only trying to be accepted by society, all along knowing that their mutant powers would never allow for that.

Enter Formation Design’s “Logan Bust”. With a number of Logan (Wolverine) kits in the market already, most of them if not all being full size kits, this bust comes as a different pace to the garage kit world.

A total of 9 solid resin pieces makes up this outstanding Kit.

In reality they are 11 pieces, two are not used due to the fact they are spare claws, added in just incase you damage any of the original 6.

Sculpted by the talented Chris Gabrish and Scott Whitworth they bring Logan to life on a rock vine like base. I like this version of Wolverine because both Chris and Scott captured the traditional Wolverine snarl along with his defining muscles and veins in his arms while keeping true to the brown suit.

The claws are just at the right length, one has to say what is the correct length for his claws, and I would say any where between 4 to 5 inches to scale of the kit. Not to long and not to short.

The casting is flawless with just one or two air bubbles, with seam lines being light, wet sandpaper can easily remove them. There is no need to use a Dremel on him. Pegs were already attached to each hand along with a squared up hole on the torso, this make for fast assembly, no need for pre drilling or metal pins. Scribes lines have to be added from where the yellow and brown suit meet. This will allow for the separation of the two colors not only for easy painting but also for affect as well, but this does not at all take away from the kit at all.

There are two version of the Logan bust available from Formation Design’s The Yellow/ Brown suit in which the article was written on and a Yellow/Blue version.

The Yellow/Blue version was added much later due to a large response from people who wanted to see this version of Wolverine’s suit. It really does not matter which version you pick up you will be totally satisfied with this kit from them.

Logan bust coasts $50.00, which includes shipping. Making this a great kit to pick and work on in between larger projects.  If you’re a Wolverine fan you do not want to let this kit slip away.

Logan Bust receives 5 Paws.
